Connor Bunnaman is making his case for the 13th forward spot on the Flyers roster.
In Monday’s preseason win over the Bruins, he won a puck battle that led to a shot. He also drew a penalty and blocked a shot.
“He’s definitely right there in the mix,” Flyers head coach Alain Vigneault said. “I think he’s been getting better every day. I thought tonight he had a good game and hopefully he gives us another good one tomorrow.”
He had an assist in 18 games last season.
