COLTS CARSON WENTZ HAS EASY PICKINGS ON WOEFUL JETS!

Carson Wentz bounced back from last Sunday’s disastrous loss to the Titans with a 45-30 win over the Jets, who lost fill-in quarterback Mike White to an injured right forearm suffered in the first half.

Wentz’s first year with the Colts has included foot surgery during training camp, a contact-tracing quarantine upon his return and then two sprained ankles suffered in an early-season game against the Los Angeles Rams.

But Wentz has played reasonably well, on the whole. And he was very good Thursday. Wentz completed 22 of 30 passes for 272 yards and three touchdowns as the Colts improved their record to 4-5. It was a badly needed boost for them four days after Sunday’s 34-31 overtime loss to the Tennessee Titans.
