Patrick Mahomes (ankle) said he avoided setbacks against the Bengals.
Mahomes said he escaped with just general soreness.
“Other than that, I’m in a good spot.”
Mahomes — who did not receive a pain-killing injection before the AFC Championship Game — appeared healthier than expected, and is once again practicing in full this week.
He still won’t be 100 percent healthy for the Eagles in the Super Bowl but he should be close enough to once again put the entire offense on his back as the Chiefs look to pull off the modest upset.
