Eagles coach Kelly has known Nelson Agholor for years. The relationship dates back to 2011, when Agholor was a senior at Berkeley Prep in Tampa and Kelly was trying to recruit him to Oregon.
After signing with USC, he caught six passes for 162 yards and a touchdown against the Ducks.
“I’ve always been very impressed with him,” Kelly said. “I guess the best way to say it is he’s just dialed in as a football player. I think the great thing about Nelson is he as a growth mindset, not a fixed mindset. He’s always striving to get better. He’s really exactly what we’re looking for in a football player.”
