BYRON MAXWELL, WHO SUCKED, SAYS EAGLES WEREN’T VERY GOOD!

By Harry Allison

The Eagles traded the overpaid and underachieving Byron Maxwell to Miami along with linebacker Kiko Alonso. The Dolphins in return gave the No. 8 overall selection in this month’s draft to Philly and took the Eagles’ No. 13 overall pick.

Now Maxwell will be in a zone scheme under new Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph. But this time he’ll be the team’s No. 1 corner.

“We weren’t very good,” Maxwell said of last year’s Eagles. “I could’ve played better obviously. We left plays out on the field. I could’ve done some things better, things I’m going to work on. But that’s 2015. It’s time to go and move to 2016 and see where that takes me.”
