BUTLER’S 35 CAN’T SAVE HEAT: HE COULD’VE SAVED SIXERS!

By Jerry Wein

Jimmy Butler came through with 35 points (13-of-24 FG, 8-of-11 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, one 3-pointer, one steal and one turnover across 48 minutes in the Heat’s 100-96 Game 7 loss to Boston.

A major factor in the loss was the massive disparity in 3-point makes between the two teams, with the Heat finishing just 6-of-30 from distance compared to 11-of-32 from 3-point territory for Boston.
