Philly made the postseason three times in his six years there and lost in the first round every time. LeSean McCoy did not distinguish himself, gaining a combined 147 yards in the three games for a 3.9-yard average and a long run of 14 yards.
The Eagles didn’t get rid of McCoy because he is black — so is DeMarco Murray, whom the Birds signed to replace him. They got rid of him because he came up short in big games.
