The Eagles’ first OTA opens tomorrow at NovaCare, and even though attendance is voluntary expect D-lineman Brandon Graham to be there.

Graham has said he wants a new financial deal, but ESPN reports that as Graham recovers from a May 1 ankle procedure, he’s not expected to participate in the practices.

The Eagles tried and failed in 2017 to extend his deal, but the terms weren’t deemed to be sufficiently favorable to Graham to result in an agreement.

With Graham now one year away from free agency or the franchise tag, the Eagles may have a greater degree of urgency to get something done.

The purpose of journalism, and in this case any Philly digital site, is to “comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.”

FASTPHILLYSPORTS.COM separates itself from the other Philadelphia blogs that provide Philly sports news because we do not accept the conventional wisdom, which is what the teams want you to believe even if a simple eye test tells you not to.
