The NCAA tournament has been filled with upsets so far, so your bracket is already busted.
But cheer up.
Charles Barkley’s is even worse!
The Sixers great and Hall of Famer is now a Turner Sports analyst, and he’s terrific on the NBA, which he follows closely.
But his college knowledge?
Not so much.
He thought Michigan State and Arizona would play in the title game, title game. Arizona was bounced the first night and Michigan State’s loss to Syracuse on Sunday put an end to that.
Only three of his Elite Eight picks are still intact, South Dakota State didn’t win a game let alone beat North Carolina to reach the regional finals and Rhode Island didn’t come close to beating Duke on Saturday.
His only on the money picks look like tabbing Nevada in the Sweet 16 and having his alma mater, Auburn, lose in the second round (though Barkley thought it’d be New Mexico State administering the beating, not Clemson).
