Paul Reed had a double-double with 16 points (7-for-10 FGs), 14 rebounds and two blocks in the Sixers win over Miami.
With Joel Embiid sidelined, Reed played the backup center minutes in this game, as Doc Rivers started a small-ball lineup with P.J. Tucker at the five.
Still, he ended up leading the bench with 28 minutes, which was also more than Tucker’s 19. That allowed him to set a new career-high for rebounds, while also having one of his best scoring nights of the season.
Embiid will likely be back when they play Dallas tonight, but if he isn’t, Reed will look to build off this game.
