By Peter Marx

Kyle Gibson yielded three runs over 6 1/3 innings in the Phils 7-0 loss to the Rangers.

He also scattered seven hits and punched out four.

Gibson held the Rangers scoreless through 4 2/3 innings, but in the bottom of the fifth, he gave up back-to-back home runs to Nathaniel Lowe and Jonah Heim.

The 34-year-old right-hander will take on the Padres on Sunday at Petco Park.
