What was coach Doug Pederson thinking?
After a comeback against the Baltimore Ravens late in the fourth quarter, Carson Wentz and the Eagles let a much-needed win slip away with this failed two-point conversion.
The ball seemed to get lost between Wentz and halfback Boston Scott on the play, as both players held on to the ball just long enough to result in a deflating tackle in a combined effort by Ravens Matthew Judon and L.J. Fort.
Wentz finished the contest completing 21 of 40 passes for 213 yards along with two touchdowns. With so many players out for the Eagles due to injuries, it was amazing to watch Wentz attempt a comeback against the likes of the Ravens.
But it was just another loss, and the blame goes to coach Doug Pederson!
What a terrible 2-point play with the chance to tie the game on the line.pic.twitter.com/YFDaPF0FTu
