Andrew McCutchen isn’t an MVP-caliber player anymore, but his three-year, $50 million contract seemed like a smart investment a year ago.
That was before he tore his left ACL on June 3, missing the rest of the season.
Hopefully, he won’t miss a beat upon his return, but it’s difficult to fully recover from such a devastating injury.
