Phils third baseman Alec Bohm committed three errors Monday night, then was seen on video mouthing “I hate this fucking place,” or words to that effect.
But he owned it right away, and apologized for his intemperate remark.
The fans bought it.
Last night Bohm stepped to the plate as a pinch-hitter for Simón Muzziotti, many fans gave him a standing ovation before grounding out.
“It was cool, it was really cool,” Bohm said. “I appreciated it. At the end of the day, if you have siblings, you fight with your siblings one second, and then you’re best friends again.”
“All they want is transparency. We all want the same thing. We’re all in this together.”
