ALEC BOHM’S MAGICAL SEASON ROLLS ON IN PHILS WIN OVER CUBS!

By Sam Bush

Alec Bohm went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, leading the Phillies to a 5-3 victory over the Cubs.

Just a few hours after being named to the National League’s starting third baseman for the upcoming All-Star game, the first selection of his career, Bohm took Cubs ace Shota Imanaga deep for a two-run blast — his 11th round-tripper of the season — to help the Phillies to a late-inning comeback victory.

The 27-year-old slugger is having the best season of his career, batting .299 with 40 runs scored, 11 homers, 70 RBI and four steals through 84 games.
