Joel Embiid finished the Sixers loss to the Celtics with 15 points (4-of-9 FG), three rebounds, five blocks and three turnovers.
Embiid returned following a 14-day, two-game absence and the announcement that he won MVP.
The Sixers stole Game 1 with Embiid on the sidelines, and a series split with the reigning MVP healthy might have been a better path than playing him 27 minutes in a lopsided affair.
Aside from a game against the Bulls in which he logged only 16 minutes, Embiid took at least 11 field goals in every game he played this season, and the three boards are easily a season-low.
