A DOUBLE PLAY THAT DIDN’T GO 2 FEET BEAT THE PHILS, WATCH!

By Art Beitchman

The Phillies made a big splash in London this weekend, winning game one 7-2 but dropping the second 6-5 in strange fashion as Nick Castellanos hit into a game-ending double play without the ball traveling two feet!

The good news is that starter Taijuan Walker pitched well enough to win, but couldn’t close the deal.

No biggie, the Phils are still 25 games over .500 at 45-20.

Every fan would take that in a heartbeat a few weeks into June.

They travel to Boston for a 3-game set versus the Red Sox starting Tuesday at 7:10pm.
