WAS T. O. GREATEST EAGLES’ WR EVER? READ HIS TWITTER DEBATE WITH REUBEN FRANK

By Sarah Berkowitz

Was Terrell Owens the greatest Eagles’ receiver ever?

Since it’s about 10 years since T. O.’s incredible performance in the Birds’ 24-21 loss to the Patriots in SB39, that’s an appropriate question to ask.

CSNPhilly’s Eagles writer Reuben Frank disagreed with Owens, who naturally that he was the greatest, choosing Mike Quick.

T.O. took some exception to that and the following transpired:

@RoobCSN @SternFan419 that’s funny

It could have been you, TO. It should have been you. It’s your own fault you’re not the best ever RT @terrellowens @SternFan419 that’s funny

@RoobCSN @SternFan419 that’s even funnier lol

It’s not funny. You could have owned this city. There’s a reason you were on 5 teams your last 8 years RT @terrellowens that’s even funnier

@RoobCSN that’s the funniest I’ve ever heard. The # of teams has nothing to do with it. There r plenty that hv played on multiple teams.

Dude, @terrellowens, you would have OWNED this city and led a parade or two if you had just respected your teammates and coaches.

I happen to agree with Roob that T. O. wasn’t the greatest because he only played one full year for the Birds.

Quick was terrific, but remember 1960?

Tommy McDonald caught 39 passes in just 12 games and 13 were for TD’s!
