In the glow of the Eagles Super Bowl win, the NFL offseason is right around the corner:

February 20 – First day for clubs to designate Franchise or Transition Players.

– Trey Burton is a candidate to be franchise tagged. 

February 27 to March 5 – NFL Scouting Combine, Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana.

March 6 – Prior to 4:00 p.m. EST, deadline for clubs to designate Franchise or Transition Players.

March 12 to March 14 – Clubs are permitted to contact, and enter into contract negotiations with, the certified agents of players who will become Unrestricted Free Agents upon the expiration of their 2017 player contracts at 4:00 p.m. EST, on March 14. However, a contract cannot be executed with a new club until 4:00 p.m., EST, on March 14.

– This is the “legal tampering” period for the Eagles to negotiate contracts with 2018 free agents. 

March 14 – Free agency begins on the first day of the new league year. Teams can make deals official at 4 p.m. EST. Trades was also be formally submitted to the league office. Eagle will have to be under the salary cap. 

April 16 – Clubs with returning head coaches may begin offseason workout programs. First day Eagles can work out. 

April 26 to April 28 – 2018 NFL Draft, AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX.
