The Falcons offense was woeful against the Minnesota Vikings in the season opener.

However, the defense showed promise in the passing game. It was not long before the Vikings suddenly abandoned the pass altogether and opted to just run it down the Falcons throat. As a result, running back Dalvin Cook finished the game with 111 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.

The Eagles lit up the scoreboard thanks to a couple of 50-yard bombs from Carson Wentz to wide receiver DeSean Jackson.

Wentz finished with 29 completions for more than 300 yards and three TD’s.

Look for Wentz to do it again tomorrow night.
