The blockbuster Wawa Welcome America festival returns for 2018, bringing more than 50 free, fabulous events to Philadelphia in celebration of America’s 242nd birthday.

The city hosts two dazzling fireworks displays during this weeklong romp. The first show lights up the Delaware River waterfront following a free patriotic concert and the second — the city’s biggest fireworks display with all-new special effects — blazes in the sky above the Philadelphia Museum of Art on July Fourth.

Other highlights include the third annual Historic District Block Party, free or pay-what-you wish admission to 17 museums and attractions, an expanded roster of outdoor concerts and a Fourth of July finale party on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, with a free concert starring Pitbull:
