Just call them the Good News Sixers!

After a decade or more of gloom and doom, it seems everything they touch has turned to gold:

Drafting Markelle Fultz No. 1 overall, signing sharpshooter J. J. Redick, selling season tickets so fast it’s hard to keep track.

And now…

Furkan Korkmaz will reportedly receive a buyout from Anadolu Efes, his current team in Turkey, and will play for the Sixers next season, according to Eurobasket.com’s Fersu Yahyabeyoğlu.

The Sixers are still working out the details of the buyout and Korkmaz’s FIBA (International Basketball Federation) clearance, a source told CSNPhilly.com.

The Sixers drafted the 19-year old shooting guard with the 26th overall pick in 2016.
