The Flyers (35-23-11) play the Vegas Golden Knights (44-19-5) tonifht at the Wells, their first meeting since February 11th when the Flyers won 4-1.
The Flyers had lost five consecutive games before beating the Winnipeg Jets 2-1 on Saturday.
In 59 minutes Petr Mrazek collected 27 saves on 28 shot attempts, a 96.4% save percentage. He had 1 power play save, 2 shorthanded saves and 24 even saves. Claude Giroux made one goal on two shots in 18:30 minutes. Andrew MacDonald took three shots and scored one goal in 17:25 minutes.
The Flyers rank third in the Metropolitan division, sixth in the Eastern conference and 12th in the NHL, with 81 points on the season.
They are currently sixth in the wildcard race.
The Golden Knights have a chance to add to their streak after winning their last game. They beat the Buffalo Sabres on the road, 2-1. In 65 minutes Marc-Andre Fleury collected 31 saves on 32 shot attempts, a 96.9% save percentage. He had 3 power play saves, 2 shorthanded saves and 26 even saves. Deryk Engell and took one shot and scored one goal in 21:38 minutes.
