The Eagles are in a deep slump and the Kansas City Chiefs are red-hot.
So, the comparison between Eagles coach Chip Kelly and Chiefs coach Andy Reid, who preceded Kelly in Philly, is inevitable.
Thanks to Mark Eckel of NJ.com, here’s what’s relevant:
In games decided by a touchdown, or less, Kelly’s 8-7. He’s also 13-8 in games decided by 10 points or more.
How does that compare with Reid’s Birds record?
He was 6-9 in his first 15 games decided by a touchdown, or less. And during his 14-year career with the Eagles had a record of 41-48 in those types of games.
