Almost for lack of a better option, Darren Sproles gets the start this week as a fantasy running back for the Eagles.
Going against a run-friendly Cincinnati Bengals defense, Sproles should see action both rushing and catching the football this week, something that will make him a definite dark horse in the world of fantasy football.
Despite Wendell Smallwood getting the start last Monday night for the Eagles, Sproles saw the majority of the game action at tailback. With Sproles now likely a bit more healthier for this week’s contest, that gap should climb to new heights. Add to this that Sproles is becoming Carson Wentz favorite option and you may have a recipe for success.
