Flyers restricted free-agent forward Nick Cousins has accepted his qualifying offer, and will make $937,125 this season.

The 22-year-old Cousins appeared in 36 games for the Flyers last season, recording six goals and five assists in 11 games. By season’s end, he was centering the team’s third line. He also played in all six playoff games, but did not register a point.

The Belleville, Ontario native was the Flyers’ third-round pick (68th overall) in 2011 NHL draft.
