Poor air quality from the fire in Ventura County northwest of Los Angeles led the Rams to cancel today’s practice at Cal Lutheran in Thousand Oaks.
Rather than a typical 90-minute full practice, the Rams will hold a lighter “walk-thru” practice at Cal Lutheran, four days before their game against the Eagles at the L. A. Coliseum.
Tuesday is a scheduled off day for players, and this week, team officials monitored air quality from the fire that started near Santa Paula, approximately 25 miles northwest of the Rams’ practice location.
The Eagles are spending this week in Southern California, but their practices in Orange County’s Anaheim have not been affected.
