Shady McCoy made a surprising start for the Buffalo Bills against the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals, and he was a one-man gang in the Bills’ 34-21 defeat.
McCoy returned from a hamstring injury to put up 90 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries yesterday against the Bengals. He also turned four targets into two catches for four yards.
McCoy was the only running back to record a carry for the Buffalo Bills, and proved himself capable of carrying a full workload.
Head coach Rex Ryan has a propensity for running the football, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see the team lean even more heavily on its star running back in the coming weeks.
