“Out of nowhere just getting released like that, that was kind of like a slap in the face,” DeSean Jackson said yesterday.

As division rivals, there’s always tension when it comes to the Washington Redskins and Eagles. For Jackson who began his career with the Eagles, it goes much deeper than that.

Jackson was unexpectedly cut by the Eagles prior to the 2014 season which allowed him to sign with Washington. As the Redskins prepare for Sunday’s game at the Linc, Jackson made his feelings about getting cut pretty clear.
