Eagles running back Jordan Howard is still bothered by the stinger in his shoulder:
“It’s day-to-day,” Pederson said yesterday. “It is going, it is progressing. It’s trending, obviously, in the right way. We just got to make sure that he gets his strength back before we put him back out there.”
Howard suffered a stinger during the Eagles’ Week 9 victory over the Chicago Bears and it’s been a slow recovery process. He has missed the last team’s two games and has been a limited participant during practice.
Before going down with the shoulder injury, Howard had rushed 119 carries for 525 yards and six touchdowns. Without Howard, it’s been mostly Miles Sanders who has filled in. The Eagles also brought in Jay Ajayi and he rushed six times for 16 yards.
