The Eagles promoted defensive tackle Bruce Hector from the practice squad to the active roster and released wide receiver Kamar Aiken.

A rookie free agent out of South Florida, Hector made the 53-man roster out of training camp and played in the first four games. The 6-2, 296-pound defensive tackle had one stop in 18 snaps, while also contributing on special teams. He was waived on October 2, but brought back to the practice squad

Destiny Vaeao started three games this season, including the Week 6 win over the Giants, but was Waived/Injured on Tuesday. Haloti Ngata missed the last two games with a calf injury. He has beenlimited in practice this week.

Before the addition of Hector, Fletcher Cox and Treyvon Hester were the only defensive tackles who were not on the injury report. Of course, Brandon Graham and Michael Bennett can slide from end to tackle if needed.
