The Eagles can’t wait to roll out their newest weapon Sunday night:
And coach Doug Pederson says Carson Wentz needs to connect with him Golden Tate quickly.
The Eagles are just one game back from the division-leading Washington Redskins in the NFC East. The hunt has been tight all season, and they hope this recent move will help them rise above the competition.
However, the Eagles have the chance to capitalize on what could have been a huge mistake for Detroit:
“Well, it’s going to take a little time,” Pederson told PhiladelphiaEagles.com. “They’re going to have to spend a little extra time either during or after practice and getting some extra throws possibly just to kind of get a feel. I think as a quarterback you’d want to do that, and same way with Golden.”
The first test for this new and improved Philly team will come in a divisional matchup with the Dallas Cowboys, who just acquired their own highly touted target in Amari Cooper. Neither team is out of the mix yet, so this will be a crucial game.
