The Union are driving for their fifth straight win tonight in Salt Lake City.

This is the only match between these two clubs in 2017.

The Union are just below the red line in seventh place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 4-4-4. Philly has not lost a match in their last six contests, outscoring opponents 14-4.

The club is coming off of a 2-1 come from behind victory against Colorado Rapids last week. The Union fell behind in the first half, but a penalty kick from CJ Sapong and a world class free-kick from Haris Medunjanin lifted Philly over Colorado to keep the streak alive.

Real Salt Lake enters tonight in 10th in the Western Conference with a record of 3-8-2. The club will be without midfielder Kyle Beckerman who is suspended for one game after a challenge on Seattle’s Clint Dempsey last week. This week the Union will look to defeat MLS legend Nick Rimando who will be between the posts for RSL. Rimando is MLS all-time leader for goalkeepers in games played, games started, minutes, saves and shutouts.
