There’s good news and bad news about the Eagles’ injury report:

Cornerback Byron Maxwell expects to practice today.

He’ll be covering Cardinals’ great Larry Fitzgerald Sunday night!

Starting slot receiver Jordan Matthews returned to practice after sitting out on Tuesday. Matthews was limited. He’s still dealing with a back issue.

Maxwell sat out of practice for the second straight day on Wednesday. He’s dealing with an ankle injury suffered in the Eagles’ win over the Bills. Maxwell played through the entire game with the injury and he told reporters he expects to play this week. He plans to return to practice on Thursday. Maxwell will have a tough test against the Cardinals’ receivers.
