Navy football will honor the Blue Angels by wearing all-blue uniforms for its annual showdown with Army this Saturday at the Linc.
The hand-painted helmets, which feature six F/A-18 Hornets in delta formation and chrome face masks to mimic the visors worn by Blue Angels pilots, are especially sharp.
The right shoulder features the Blue Angels insignia.
“Anyone who has had the privilege of watching the Blue Angels perform knows there is no show quite like it”, Under Armour senior creative director Adam Clement said.
You can always count on Navy to put together fantastic uniforms for the Army-Navy Game, and it is not disappointing us in 2017.
Army ended Navy’s 14-game winning streak in the series with a 21-17 win previous year in Baltimore.
The two teams have been wearing special alternate uniforms ahead of this game for years, with Navy wearing position-by-position uniforms in 2015 based on different ships and 1963 throwback uniforms last year.
