If you’re looking to bet on the Alabama-Clemson national championship game outright, Bovada has Alabama as a 6-point favorite on the spread and -200 on the moneyline with Clemson coming back at +170 and the total opening at 59 points.

If the conventional bets aren’t your fancy or you’re looking for more things to bet on, we have a complete list of prop bets that may spark your interest. Perhaps you like the 50/50 gamble of who will win the coin toss, with both Alabama and Clemson paying -105. Or maybe you have a feel for whether these evenly matched teams will go to overtime or not; Yes is at +700 while No is -1600.

Here’s what OddsShark.com says:

The first prop bet I like is a fumble for the first turnover of the game at +130. Since the 1998 season, there has been at least one turnover in every national championship game. The two quarterbacks, Tua Tagovailoa and Trevor Lawrence, combined for just eight interceptions this season with Alabama averaging 0.5 interceptions per game and Clemson averaging 0.6 picks per game. The Crimson Tide average 0.8 fumbles per game and the Tigers average 1.4 fumbles per game.

My second prop bet I like is Alabama as the first team to 10 points at -165. The Crimson Tide led the league in points scored in the first quarter this season with 16.4 and averaged the most first-half points at 31.5. Clemson, on the other hand, scored the second-most second-half points in the nation at 21.6, and averaged just 7.5 points in the first quarter, making it a bit of a slow starter compared to Alabama.
