Uh-oh.

Get ready for more than a month of cat and mouse from the Eagles about whether they want to bring quarterback Sam Bradford back.

That’s how long it is until March 9, when free agents officially can start making deals.

And it appears that Howie Boy Roseman is influencing new coach Doug Pederson, who gave Bradford, who is due to be a free agent, a ringing endorsement last week.

“Sam and I had a great conversation a few days ago,” Pederson said today at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. “I look forward to working with him. It’s just something where we will continue to evaluate. We’ll pull that trigger one way or another when the time comes.”

A day ago top personnel executive Roseman was lukewarm.

“Obviously the quarterback position is the most important position on the field,” Roseman said. “It would be disingenuous to say anything else. But at the same time you have to evaluate your team, evaluate the players in the draft, the free agent market, and start making decisions.”
